| Chicken Biryani |
Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 4 sliced onions
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup curd
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 4-5 green chillies
- Fresh coriander & mint leaves
- Whole spices (cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaves)
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tsp biryani masala
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup oil or ghee
- Water as needed
Method:
1. Rice ko dhokar 30 minutes bhigo do.
2. Pan mein oil garam karo, whole spices daalke bhuno.
3. Onion daal kar golden brown hone tak bhuno.
4. Ginger-garlic paste aur green chillies daal kar bhuno.
5. Chicken, curd, turmeric, red chili, biryani masala, aur namak daal kar 20 min tak pakao.
6. Alag se chawal ko 70% tak ubal lo, paani nikal do.
7. Ek handi me pehle chicken gravy, phir chawal ki layer banao. Har layer par coriander, mint aur thoda ghee daalo.
8. Dum laga kar low flame par 25-30 min tak pakao.
9. Garma garam biryani raita ya salad ke saath serve karo.
